Scholarship for Students With Dependent Children
Scholarship for Students With Dependent Children
Helping Parents Get Ahead
If you're a parent struggling to complete a bachelor's degree, Seton Hill can help! The Pennsylvania Department of Education has awarded Seton Hill a Parent Pathways Grant that allows us to provide additional financial aid for new students who are parents. Students who receive this scholarship are also eligible for special academic advising and support services tailored just for students with children.
How It Works
Beginning June 1, 2024, if you are a Pennsylvania parent with dependent children who is accepted into one of the online bachelor's degree programs listed below, you can be considered for a Parent Pathways Scholarship. This one-time scholarship will help to fill the gap between all other aid that you are eligible for and your total educational cost.
There are a limited number of these scholarships, and they must be awarded between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025.
To be eligible, a new student must:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.gov and list Seton Hill as a school of interest. (Our code number is 003362.)
- Be a Pennsylvania resident who is a parent of dependent children (as reflected on the FAFSA).
- Be accepted and enroll in an online bachelor's degree at Seton Hill.
- Complete the quick form below so Seton Hill's Office of Online Studies can help you through the process of applying (if you haven't already) and getting your best aid package.
